Good Sports Art San Diego Padres San Diego Brilliance Lithograph The ballpark in San Diego, once known as Jack Murphy Stadium and now named Qualcomm Stadium, has been Tony Gwynn's personal playground since the early 1980s. As a rookie in 1982, Gwynn batted a mere .289 in 190 at-bats. He hasn't hit under .309 since and has gone on to claim the Padres'(tm) career records for runs scored, hits, doubles, triples, batting average and stolen bases.
